Welcome! --Boris Tsirelson 00:47, 12 December 2010 (CST)

Welcome, Robert! :-) Feel free to edit to your heart's content, chip in suggestions, expand pages, write articles, or just read—whatever you want. And feel free to ask me any questions you have.—Thomas Larsen (talk) 02:29, 12 December 2010 (CST)
What sorts of articles would be good for creation?--Robert Smith 08:07, 12 December 2010 (CST)
Well, pretty much any articles that you'd like to write! :-) We've imported some articles about physics and mathematics from Citizendium, but there's definitely room for more articles about those topics. We don't have many articles about things like literature, art, sport, and computer science yet. If you're stuck, you might want to visit Special:WantedPages for a list of articles that are linked to from other pages but haven't been created. I hope that helps a bit! What do you enjoy writing about?—Thomas Larsen (talk) 08:46, 12 December 2010 (CST)
I do enjoy writing about subjects such as history and current events as well as others. I will have to work. Are all the articles here imported from the Citizendium?--Robert Smith 12:16, 12 December 2010 (CST)
Most, but not all. These are written here (if I am not mistaken):

Stirling's approximation + Fortran + Johannes Diderik van der Waals + Avogadro's number + Spherical harmonics + Marie-Anne Paulze + Magnetic induction + Theodicy + Tagalog language + Invisible Man + Lebanon + Quadratic formula + South Dakota School of Mines and Technology + Prince William

(did I forgot something?)

[edit] Note

Thanks for importing Wikipedia from Citizendium, Robert! Please remember to put "{{CZcredit}}" at the bottom of any articles you import from Citizendium.—Thomas Larsen (talk) 04:16, 13 December 2010 (CST)

I will make sure to do so from now on.--Robert Smith 08:22, 13 December 2010 (CST)
No worries!—Thomas Larsen (talk) 16:12, 13 December 2010 (CST)
Very good. I just found the new site...--Robert Smith 06:33, 19 December 2010 (EST)

[edit] Atom (science)

Robert, welcome by me too. You imported Atom, but it seems to me practically the same as Atom (science). I made some changes in the latter version. Is it OK with you when I delete Atom? --Paul Wormer 07:55, 19 December 2010 (EST)

Yes, go ahead.--Robert Smith 12:43, 20 December 2010 (EST)

[edit] What sort of articles?

Robert, any kind of articles is good. There is a simple reason that you see so much science and math. Boris (who is a mathematician) and I (chemical physicist) are transporting ("borrowing") the better Citizendium articles to here. We had to start somewhere, so we decided to do physics/math first, one reason being that that selection contains much of our own Citizendium work.

I would say: write on any topic that you feel inspired to (but check first whether it does not exist yet). Happy writing! --Paul Wormer 01:29, 21 December 2010 (EST)

Exactly so! --Boris Tsirelson 09:17, 21 December 2010 (EST)
Excellent! I will get to work, probably writing some original articles (this site could use some).--Robert Smith 13:06, 21 December 2010 (EST)
Thanks!—Thomas Larsen (talk) 18:30, 21 December 2010 (EST)
