Prince William
Prince William son of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales, was born June 21, 1982, at Paddington Hospital in London, England. He was christened Prince William Arthur Philip Louis on August 4, 1982. His christening took place in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace. His father Prince Charles is in direct line to the British throne followed by Prince William.

Prince William attended Mrs Mynors School, Wetherby School, Ludgrove School and Eton College. He later received his degree in geography from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

He is a certified search and rescue pilot for the Royal Air Force.
[edit] Engagement and Marriage
It was announced on 16 November 2010 that the prince proposed to commoner Catherine ("Kate") Elizabeth Middleton in October 2010 and that she accepted his proposal. The wedding was on 29 April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London.
