[edit] Hello!

My standard welcome message: Welcome! Feel free to edit to your heart's content, chip in suggestions, expand pages, write articles, or just read—whatever you want. And feel free to ask me any questions you have.

I'm glad you managed to make it. :-) In your e-mail, you asked about importing articles from Wikipedia, and it's a good question. My position is this:

See, we could, for example, import all of Wikipedia's featured articles; then we'd have a nice base of reasonable content. But the risk is that people would see us as a mere "mirror" of Wikipedia, and go to Wikipedia instead. I think it's best if we offer, within reason, unique content and a unique approach to content.

What do you think?

Cheers!—Thomas Larsen (talk) 12:03, 25 November 2010

Everything below this, in thread form, ignore. I wish I knew how to kill, or erase it.

If you want to talk to me, put your messages above all that, up here. Then we can both edit it the way we're used to doing on Wikipedia. Thanks! Steve Harris (Sbharris on Wikipedia) 21:57, 24 November 2010 (CST)

[edit] I got rid of LiquidThreads...

... so talk-pages should behave like, well, normal talk-pages now. :-) —Thomas Larsen (talk) 00:22, 25 November 2010 (CST)

Thanks. Was afraid you were gunna strangle this project in its cradle. Steve Harris (Sbharris on Wikipedia) 17:18, 25 November 2010 (CST)
