Uncyclopedia (the content-free encyclopedia) is a wiki parody of Wikipedia launched on January 5, 2005 by Jonathan Huang and "Stillwaters". It is a satirical website seeking to "provide the world's misinformation in the least redeeming and most searingly sarcastic and humorous way possible, through satire". Uncyclopedia's content is parodied, fabricated, and ridiculed to the point where very little factual accuracy remains. The site, as of September 2011, contains over 30,000 articles in the English language and there are Uncyclopedias in over 50 languages.
Uncyclopedia is currently hosted by Wikia, a free wiki farm (it is paid for by advertisements) created by Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales.
