Mirah

Mirah is a programming language with a syntax very similar to Ruby but with added type annotations and other statically typed features designed to make it faster to run in compiled form on the JVM. Created by the team that created the JRuby compiler/runtime and used as a drop-in Java replacement to implement the JRuby compiler.
