Knowino

Knowino, formerly known as Tendrl, is a wiki encyclopedia project initiated by Thomas H. Larsen. It was founded on November 15, 2010, amidst uncertainty of the future of Citizedium. It plans to build on some of the principles of Citizendium such as expert reviewing. However, it partially eschews the "real names" policy of Citizendium by allowing open registration and inoffensive pseudonyms, though requiring administrators and reviewers to use their real names. It aims to become a more reliable version of Wikipedia - a mission in which it has consistently and conspicuously failed so far.
